For nine months Leader, Rick Swenson, and the P.C. Party have been investigating questionable land deals at the Global Transportation Hub and the Highway to Nowhere.
The P.C. Party turned their evidence over to the CBC, who did a thorough investigation.
“The revelation today of millions of dollars in questionable land deals by the Global Transportation Hub means the Premier has no option but to fire Minister Boyd immediately and open the books” said PC Leader Rick Swenson.
“This same minister, Bill Boyd, as minister responsible for Sask Power had the multi-million dollar smart meter fiasco, the massive overruns and non-performance at Boundary Dam CO2 project, and the questionable 24 million dollar purchase of land in the GTH by Sask Power. The Minister has now added questionable land purchases on the edge of the GTH and South Regina bypass to his résumé.”
“The taxpayer can no longer tolerate this minister’s level of incompetence with their money. It does beg the question, how many more of Mr. Wall’s cabinet were aware of these transactions as they flowed across the cabinet table for approval?” asked Swenson.
Swenson concluded by saying "Boyd must go; and what does Wall know?”
