Leader of the PC Party of Saskatchewan, Ken Grey, is questioning Premier Moes decision to open casinos and movie theatres and other entertainment facilities in phase 4 of the reopening but not allowing places of worship to open during the same phase.
"Churches and other places of worship are fully capable of providing safe social distancing practices" Grey stated."Our churches provide a vital service to communities and are important to their members for providing faith and guidance as we recover from this crisis." Ken said.
"Churches and places of worship provide many services to our communities including running small food closets, clothing distribution and faith counselling. We feel these are more important or at least as important as casinos" Ken added.
"Today, I'm asking Premier Moe to include churches and places of worship in reopening plan. Not just the revenue generators like casinos"
