Rose Buscholl of Colonsay, Saskatchewan has announced she will be seeking nomination to be the Progressive Conservative candidate in the Saskatoon University Constituency for the provincial election to be held April 4, 2016.
Ms. Buscholl is a student attending the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon. She is working towards two degrees in psychology and anthropology. She will complete both degrees in April of this year. Rose is married with three children and one grandchild.
Rose has been an active member of the Colonsay community serving as an RM Councillor and a member of the local fire department. She served as fire chief for two years and is also trained as a first responder.
Party Leader, Rick Swenson said “We are glad to have someone like Rose interested in joining the PC Team. As a student earning two degrees, she has shown tremendous work ethic, and the determination to reach her goals. I expect she will show the same determination towards this nomination, and ultimately in earning her spot in the Legislature.”
When asked why she is seeking the nomination, Ms. Buscholl replied, ”I would like to use my education and past experiences to work for a better Saskatchewan. I want to work towards creating more economic stability which would ultimately benefit all the people of Saskatchewan.”
In conclusion, Ms. Buscholl stated “I look forward to gaining the nomination and hope to earn the opportunity to serve the residents of Saskatoon University in the Legislature.”
