Bad Timing for a Trip Premier Moe
Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan, Ken Grey, is asking why Premier Moe chose the worst possible time to flee the province. “We have a province wide crown corporation strike to deal with, a terrible crop year and a federal election which could change the province’s political horizons and the Premier leaves now? Perhaps Premier Moe needs his safe space.” Ken said.
“Maybe he doesn’t want to answer questions such as why the number of executives and executive pay increased almost triple while others received nothing? Or why he accepts money from Chinese companies for his party while China blocks trade? Or what he will grandstand on if the federal government changes leadership? The Premier and the SaskParty are not standing up for anyone accept the SaskParty and friends” Grey stated.
The Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan understands the importance of trade relationships; however, the timing of this trip is what is in question. Does the Premier not have cabinet ministers and officials that are qualified to negotiate deals?
The NDP can’t or won’t hold this government to task. It is time to elect a true conservative MLAs that will challenge this liberal style spending Saskparty to account for its deficits, bad policy and debt.
