Ken Grey & Family
Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan
Ken Grey of Regina has been nominated as the Progressive Conservative candidate in the Regina Northeast constituency for the upcoming by-election.
Ken was born in Saskatoon and raised on the family farm near Colonsay. Ken holds a diploma from SIAST as a special care aide and worked in the health care field for a number of years. After a brief move to Alberta, Ken returned to Regina where he has worked as a bus operator for Regina Paratransit since 2014.
Ken served as vice president of SEIU Local 333 in 2005 and President in 2006. He and his wife Jodi have four children and are currently expecting their fifth grandchild. Ken has an additional three children as part of his extended family.
Party Leader, Rick Swenson said “The PC Party is glad to have Ken join our team. He brings a broad life experience to the table, and is particularly knowledgeable in the challenges facing our health care system. He and the rest of the PC Party are prepared to work hard to see Ken elected as the next MLA for Regina Northeast. I am certain that the residents of that constituency would be well represented by Ken as their MLA.
When asked why he is seeking the nomination, Ken said, “There is a great deal of uneasiness in Regina Northeast. Voters have lost trust in and have grown weary of a tired Sask Party government, but doubt whether an out of touch NDP opposition is any real alternative. I believe Saskatchewan voters need another alternative, a political party which is prepared to lead our province through the challenges that lie ahead. I have come to the conclusion that the PC Party of Saskatchewan is that party.”
In conclusion Ken said, “I look forward to meeting the electorate in Regina Northeast, and am confident that they will share my vision for the future of Saskatchewan”.
