Saskatoon, SK– In honour of and respect to the work done by mine rescue members, Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan Leader Rose Buscholl will be attending tomorrow’s 54th Emergency Response Mine Rescue Competition in Saskatoon.

“The work is hard and often thankless,” stated Buscholl. “Yet members persist for the greater good. This competition is a showcase of their skills and abilities. I can think of no better way to honour what they do then to be there to show support.”

Teams from participating mines all over Saskatchewan will be competing. The annual competition is an opportunity to showcase to both the instructors and the public at large what they are capable of. Teamwork, skills, and professionalism are prominent in this display of proficiency.

“Many folks have never heard of them, Buscholl asserted, “But hopefully that will change with more exposure. Trust me, they are worth it!”
