Ken was born in Saskatoon and raised on the family farm at Colonsay Saskatchewan. He graduated high school at Colonsay School and started his post secondary education at the University of Saskatchewan. He later completed the Special Care Aide program at SIAST.
Ken worked for 9 years in long term care before moving on to become a a registered sleep technologist (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) working at the
Sleep Disorders Centre at RUH in Saskatoon for 8 years.
Ken was raised with the community values of Saskatchewan that we should all pitch in to make our community better. He has volunteered for his community association, church and is currently on the board of an NGO for the disabled. He is a financial supporter of many organizations.
Currently, Ken works as a supervisor at Regina Paratransit when he isn't working for the Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan. He is the proud father of four children and five grand children.
