Today the NDP called into question the appointment of former Premier Grant Devine to the USask Board of Governors. “Honestly I think it is disgusting the NDP would rather focus on a former Premier who hasn’t been in office for 42 years, instead of addressing the issues that are plaguing the residents of this province today.” Say Rose Buscholl Interim Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan.
I think people should consider that if you are 49 years old now in 2023, in 1991 you never had a chance to vote for the Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan because you were not voting age. But that same 49-year-old that works at the upgrader, or in uranium mining, or who was able to find meaningful employment and stay in Saskatchewan close to family, is because of Grant Devine and the Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan.
“I never had the chance to vote for the Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan when I moved to Saskatchewan, but I have witnessed 16 years of an NDP government and 16 years of a Sask Party Government, and the failures of both over the past 32 years” said Buscholl
The NDP’s objection to this appointment just shows how totally ineffective and out of touch they are with the real issues of Saskatchewan. The Progressive Conservative Party of Saskatchewan will bring back a responsible voice in the Legislature, we the voices and concerns of the residents of Saskatchewan are listened to and addressed.
